DSE to Highlight Trends in AI, New Speakers at December Conference
Digital Signage Experience gets real about real-time data, AI, and the transformation of content consumption
Digital signage professionals from around the world will flock to Digital Signage Experience (DSE) in December at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) for the ultimate combination of networking and education, and looking at trends in AI is at the forefront of conference content.
“Artificial intelligence is an exciting frontier and has moved from concept to reality with all of the tools that have been released in the last year,” says David Drain, DSE director of event operations. “Since AI has generated so much interest, I’m pleased we have a slate of sessions to meet that interest.”

New speakers are also on the docket. Sujoy Cherian, CEO of Option1live and digital signage futurist, envisions an immersive world where content isn't just personalized, but also interactive, creating unique experiences that outdo traditional signage. Hear Cherian discuss how to leverage AI and data algorithms to adapt signage can adapt to users' preferences and emotions in real-time, refining its content after every interaction, in “Revolutionizing Brand Activations: A Futurist's Perspective on AI-Driven Interactive Digital Signage.”
In “Leveraging Generative AI for Enhanced User Experience in Digital Signage: A case study with The Museum of Flight,” Peder Nelson, exhibit developer/digital engagement manager for The Museum of Flight, and Paolo Tosolini, founder of Tosolini Productions, will take a look at their encounters in utilizing AI for enhancing user experience, including the benefits and limitations of using generative AI in digital signage.
Also new to DSE, Peter Erickson, vice president of Creative for Screenfeed, and Brian Larry, emerging technology director for Revel Digital, will present a fascinating discussion on the synergy between AI, sensors, and digital signage to enhance the customer experience in “New Frontiers: The Convergence of AI, Sensors, and Digital Signage.” This session includes a look at AI's role in analyzing sensor data and extracting insights like foot traffic and demographics to make informed marketing decisions.
Finally, George Clopp, chief technology officer for Korbyt and returning to speak at DSE this year, will present a look at the role of AI specifically in content, including how the power of AI and automation can dramatically streamline content strategy, in “Drive a Smarter Digital Signage Content Strategy with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Automation.”
