Bio:
A Silicon Valley native, Daniel Black is known as an entrepreneurial maverick for leaving the Bay Area to launch Glass-Media, Inc. in Dallas, Texas at age 25. Founded in 2014, Glass-Media has grown into a global leader in bespoke digital-signage solutions, combining product innovation, design, and engineering to redefine the boundaries of visual communication.
Under Daniel’s leadership, Glass-Media was named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies three consecutive years (2023–2025) and recognized for bold growth and innovation across retail and commercial sectors. Daniel himself has been featured on the cover of D CEO Magazine, honored as a design:retail 40 Under 40 and Commercial Integrator 40 Under 40 recipient, and recognized by Tech Titans.
Beyond Glass-Media, Daniel actively contributes to the startup ecosystem as a founding member of the Forbes Dallas Business Council, a board member for multiple non-profit and for-profit organizations, and a mentor to emerging founders.
Outside of work, he’s a proud husband and father of two, fueled by curiosity, creativity, and a passion for building what’s next.
